PLUG DATA 0.8-2 is out for a while now. PlugData is incredibly awesome and a version of Pure Data that runs as a plugin in any DAW, so kinda max4live, but Pd, and loaded at any host.
It includes my ELSE library and has the latest 1.0 rc10 version which was also out this month. It also includes the latest Cyclone library (that I also take care of) that clones MAX/MSP objects. Right now it's also including the modules from MERDA (Modular EuroRacks Dancing Along) that I'm also building based on objects from ELSE and it's also inspired by VCV rack. I wish PlugData hadn't included these already as I only have a very first draft, but hey, they are there for you to try. A heads up is to not rely on them too much as things will likely change and break, but get a lot better
on the screenshot I gathered about a dozen of them, but there are more, and there will be even more!
PlugData is no joke and I'm really glad to be part of this project with all these libraries and externals from me. Next year the stable 1.0 version must be out and I think we'll shake a bit the world of computer and electronic music.
If you looked closely, yeah, we got a polyphonic PLAITS module!!! If you know it, you know... I also posted recently a module that is a 6 OP FM synth.
Wait and you'll see.
Check it at https://plugdata.org/
MERDA modules live here and can also be tried in Vanilla.
Cheers" ~ Alexandre Torres Porres, dev.

"Plaits is a digital oscillator synthesizer voice module developed by Mutable Instruments. It’s a standalone module that can be used as a full synthesizer voice, featuring a built-in lowpass gate and various algorithms for sound generation...
PlugData has integrated support for Mutable Instruments modules, including Plaits.
In the context of PlugData, the PLAITS module is a custom implementation of the Mutable Instruments Plaits algorithm, allowing users to access its unique sound-shaping capabilities within the PlugData framework. This integration enables users to incorporate Plaits’ features into their PlugData workflows, further expanding the possibilities for audio experimentation and creativity.
Overall, the combination of Plaits and PlugData offers a powerful toolset for sound design and music production, enabling users to tap into the versatility of the Plaits oscillator and the flexibility of the PlugData platform." ~ Brave Search results consolidation

"ambisonics anyone?
i revised my ambisonic encoder visualization. building this helped me a lot with understanding ambisonics. it's basically just summing the spherical harmonics according to the coefficients that are output by the encoder (based here on static input signal values).
using the IEM MultiEncoder for encoding thanks to the wonderful [vstplugin~]. visualization is done with a fragment shader in Gem (unfortunately, i did not yet manage to get rid of these ripple artifacts. EDIT: fixed now). also added a mode to display the typical ambisonic orders pyramid instead of the combined harmonics.
EDIT: github link in comments." ~ Ben Wesch (https://www.facebook.com/groups/puredata)
