The advantage of the Virtual Handpan is that you have access to notes across multiple octaves, unlike the physical model and real instrument, which only offer between 5 to 9 notes. So it's not even samples of real instruments, then, but sample-playback of models of a real instruments? If so, what's the advantage if any?
I also extended the key range of the handpan to give access to even more notes using special processes I developed.
For the Virtual Handpan, the final result is 5 octaves (60 notes) of playable notes compared to only 9 notes (or 5 notes, depending on the model or instrument you use).
So it's there for a reason.
