CLAP doesn't have a long term track record like VST has, and it's not supported by a lot of DAWsEven longer since U-He are one of the developers of the open-source CLAP format, and not solely reliant on VST. The sooner all developers adopt the CLAP format, the better.The beautiful U-HE CM synths are VST3 so should be usable for a fairly long time.![:tu:]( "Thumbs Up!")
I am particularly fond of the delightful & free Zebra CM, and wish that the paying Hive had its filters !
Companies can easily abandon it at any time and just not bother with it
It's not really accurate at all to say that CLAP has any longevity, it might but then again it might not, in any case it's a riskier move compared with VST
