Not arguing against the butt hurt, but there are still iLok dongle only plugins out there, it's a choice a developer can make, Audio Ease are ilok dongle only. MIDI Quest are iLok Cloud even.. Most developers have stepped away from the dongle only option which is great.ilok as it exists today is not that as there is no dongle needed but there is still the massive butt hurt
Having a dongle is still a great idea though, when you move machines put all of your licenses on the dongle, then you can just transfer over the software and reauthorize all of it at once, saves hours and hours.
