Re: Rigid-Audio Back From the Dead

I thought this was strange because Loot Audio, Pulse Audio, Audio plugin deals etc… still had products in sale after the announcement that Rigid Audio was closing at the end of the year. I already had the mega bundle but was concerned because one seller who was on Pulse Audio disappeared from their website and left me a message that sorry this seller is no longer on our platform and this product has been delisted. Anyway 7 months later the seller who disappeared from the Pulse Audio website appeared on one of the above ⬆️ at an exorbitant price compared to what it originally was. The seller never made contact with me over the issue. It was resolved eventually. But since last year we’ve had VSTBuzz close out to reopen within weeks under the family of the parent company that owns APD. Kirk Hunter is having a close out sale as well. But one of the products that I am calling out is Proclethrya. They were on APD as a special offer. The end date was last day of 2024. I had an issue early in 2025 and tried to redownload the software and locate the serial number and the extras that came with the price. But on the 1st of January 2025 their presence from the internet, social media etc…. Disappeared from the internet even under their moniker Dymai Sounds. Contacted APD and they told me to back up what I had. Luckily I was able to find the password. I made another website aware of what had happened and they pulled the product from their website after doing some investigation into what had happened to their social links and webpage going down. There seems to have been a lot of close outs last year that weren’t close-out sales but take over sales. I lurchas3d a few of the Kirk Hunter products and now wonder what will happen to my products should I need assistance etc…. Best Service wrote a bit about this about a month ago about people with VSTi that they purchased in good faith and now find that their products are worthless. Another mistake I make was with DearVR 3D audio product. Now I find that Siennhiesser has bout the company and released them as freeware products as well them going to revoke the licences in July 2025. I am now more dubious about who and with whom I spend my precious pennies. It might be just a good be plan to go with the DAW provider or romplers like Kontakt 8 but I understood that Magix a company that I thought couldn’t be more reliable then we learn that company filed for Bankruptcy protection towards end of last year. What the hell is going on with provides with close out sales and reopen shortly afterwards. I forgot to mention Pulse Audio which was a very secret take over by the parent company that owns APD. The search and price engine that used to be on the page has been removed as that wasn’t part of the deal. They now seem to have dates and prices from a long time ago which makes me wonder if they have stopped scrapping the internet for prices. What the rest of this year holds for the sellers, venders and purchasers. There does need to be some protection plan out there that covers you should the provider go bust.
