I second this, I don't really like the most modern sounds of Thorn, that I found a bit outdated and dull (Razor is far more interesting for that catchy and aggressive sounds IMO). But used in a more traditional way, it's very good, and even excellent for pads and atmospheric et deep soundscapes.While on paper Thorn's key features are the spectral oscillators and harmonic filter... It's actually a pretty nice subtractive synth with good overdriven filters, a fast workflow, and convenient FX.
