My first advice is that you will get a lot more advice in Discord and much faster.I'm using a Windows laptop for this project for the first time in about 20 years. I chose Waveform as DAW and I'm struggling a lot with VST, VST3, 32bit, 64bit, ... I can´t load any 32bit VST.
Any recommendation to solve it?
Second tip: if you are considering changing DAW, the best free solutions will be the Reaper free trial, Cakewalk and probably ZRythm.
Third tip: if you want to stay on Waveform, I do not know if there is a bridge there and how it works.
I'm in Cakewalk and here 32 bit plugins just open via the built-in bridge by default. There are several plugs found by a quick search: T Bridge, JBridge (commercial), Kushview Elements (free version), maybe Ildaeil, maybe VeeSTeeEx. Again, there are several Waveform users among us in the Discord, and in principle, communication and help there is much faster, I recommend you to come in.
